“Homoeopathy is not just an alternative option; it is a science grounded in compassion and evidence. On this World Homoeopathy Day, we reaffirm our dedication to broadening its reach through research, education, and public engagement,” Jadhav, the Union Minister of State (I/C), Ministry of Ayush, remarked.

He also pointed out India’s leading role in worldwide traditional medicine systems.

Jadhav highlighted the essential function of the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) in standardizing homoeopathic remedies and safeguarding botanical knowledge, mentioning the Council’s contributions in pharmacognosy, physicochemical research, and the digitalization of 17,000 herbarium sheets.

The event was celebrated with immense enthusiasm at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar. It gathered prominent global figures in Homoeopathy to honor the 270th birth anniversary of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the pioneer of Homoeopathy.

The grand event underscored the theme ‘Education, Practice, and Research in Homoeopathy’, attracting more than 8,000 participants from India and abroad, including scholars, clinicians, researchers, students, and industry experts.

The program included panel discussions, exhibitions, scientific paper presentations, and discussions aimed at advancing Homoeopathy as a vital part of global and national healthcare frameworks.

“This scientific and evidence-based therapy possesses the ability to reshape public health outcomes. Gujarat is honored to be part of this initiative, especially as it hosts the WHO’s Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar,” stated Bhupendra Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat.

He emphasized the increasing significance of Homoeopathy in contemporary healthcare and praised the Ministry’s initiatives to incorporate Homoeopathy into public health initiatives and national health programs.
