In 2024, Samsung made history with the launch of the world's first AI phone, the Galaxy S24 series, which set a new standard for AI advancements. Following this, the company has broadened its mobile AI ecosystem by enhancing multimodal intelligence and incorporating AI into wearables, tablets, PCs, and more.
The demand for Galaxy devices has surged, with over 70 percent of Galaxy S25 users actively engaging with Galaxy AI. The recent rollout of the Galaxy Z series has further expanded access to Galaxy AI, featuring Samsung's latest enhancements through One UI 8.
Over the past two years, Galaxy AI has gained widespread acceptance, providing users worldwide with innovative, creative, and productivity-enhancing features via One UI updates. By the end of the year, Samsung aims to extend the Galaxy AI experience to over 400 million devices.
Among the most popular Galaxy AI features are Photo Assist and Audio Eraser. Usage of Photo Assist has nearly doubled among Galaxy S25 users when compared to Galaxy S24. Photo Assist includes various AI tools for photo editing in the Gallery app, while Audio Eraser allows users to modify or eliminate unwanted background noise from videos.
In collaboration with Google, Samsung has also incorporated cherished features such as Gemini Live and Circle to Search, with more than half of Galaxy S25 users utilizing Circle to Search on a daily basis.
