1st WODI: Indian Women's Team Chooses to Bat First Against Australian Women

Brisbane, Dec 5 (NationPress) The Indian Women's Team has successfully won the toss and has chosen to bat first against the Australian Women's Team in the inaugural ODI at the Allan Border Field on Thursday.

This match will feature two players making their debuts: fast bowler Titas Sadhu for India and opener Georgia Voll for Australia.

The Indian team enters this game following a 2-1 series victory over New Zealand, while Australia has not participated in ODI cricket since their tour of Bangladesh in March. They will be captained by Tahlia McGrath, who is stepping in for the injured Alyssa Healy.
