Dubai, Jan 28 (NationPress) Australia's flawless performance in the current Ashes series against England has propelled many of their standout players up the ranks in the latest ICC Women's player standings.

The Australian team has shown remarkable skill with six straight victories in white-ball matches against their long-time rivals on home turf, having already secured the multi-format Ashes series prior to the upcoming one-off Test set to begin at the MCG on Thursday.

Notable opener Beth Mooney has emerged as one of the key players for Australia during the white-ball segment of the series, amassing a total of 213 runs from three innings in the recently concluded T20I matches.

This performance has allowed Mooney to extend her lead at the top of the T20I batting rankings, while teammate Tahlia McGrath has climbed to second place after scoring 75 runs across the three matches.

Heather Knight, the captain of England, ended the series as her team's top run-scorer with 101 runs, resulting in her moving up three positions to tie for 22nd among T20I batters. Additionally, Australian all-rounder Grace Harris made an impressive leap of nine spots to 28th overall.

The dominance of Australia's bowlers is evident as well, with spinner Georgia Wareham rising five spots to tie for eighth after achieving a series-high of six wickets in the three T20I matches.

Despite only taking four wickets during the series, England's Sophie Ecclestone retains her position as the number one bowler in the T20I rankings, while Hayley Matthews from the West Indies remains at the top for T20I all-rounders.

Following the conclusion of the ICC Women's Championship and a recent three-match series between Bangladesh and the West Indies, there has also been movement in the ODI rankings.

The West Indies secured a narrow 2-1 series win over Bangladesh, with veteran players Deandra Dottin, Afy Fletcher, and Karishma Ramharack making significant contributions.

Dottin's all-round performance earned her a rise of three places to 35th among ODI batters and nine spots to 25th among ODI all-rounders. Fletcher climbed five positions to 23rd, while Ramharack moved up ten places to 35th among ODI bowlers.

From the Bangladesh side, Nigar Sultana improved four spots to 32nd, and Sharmin Akhter Supta climbed two places to 39th among ODI batters, while Nahida Akter moved up one position to 10th in the ODI bowlers' rankings.
