Morrison, who has been with Cricket Australia as Executive General Manager of Events and Operations since September 2022, will bring invaluable experience to the Local Organising Committee.
During his tenure, Morrison managed the strategy, execution, and commercial success of international cricket in Australia, a period marked by record attendance.
His previous roles include serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Northern Territory Cricket, interim Head of Big Bash Leagues, and participating in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup and 2014 T20 Champions League, along with experience at the Australian Football League.
