Newcastle, April 24 (NationPress) Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe is back to his responsibilities following a hospitalization due to pneumonia, as confirmed by the Premier League club via their social media channels.

The head coach of the Magpies was admitted to the hospital on the evening of April 12, after experiencing illness for several days and was ultimately diagnosed with pneumonia.

"Newcastle United is pleased to announce that Eddie Howe has resumed his duties at the club’s Training Centre. After a period of recovery from his hospitalization for pneumonia, Eddie is back to work. We appreciate the warm messages from our supporters," Newcastle posted on X on Thursday.

During his absence, Howe missed three matches, including significant victories over Manchester United and Crystal Palace, as the team aims for a spot in the UEFA Champions League next season.
