With matches spanning Vizag, Jaipur, Chennai, and New Delhi, the return of PKL to these iconic venues has ignited excitement among players and fans alike.

The league's official Instagram hosted a live session with raiders Pawan Sehrawat of Tamil Thalaivas and Vijay Malik of Telugu Titans — former teammates turned rivals — as they expressed their enthusiasm, shared insights, and reflected on their friendship ahead of the opening match.

“This inaugural game is particularly significant for me,” stated Pawan Sehrawat, who is making his return to Tamil Thalaivas after an injury-plagued season 9. “I didn't get enough time on the mat last time, but now I have the opportunity to complete what I started.”

He praised the revamped Tamil Thalaivas squad, noting, “The team is well-rounded, featuring seasoned players like Arjun Deshwal and Narendra Kandola, alongside emerging talents like Nitesh Kumar. We are prepared.”

This match carries added sentiment for Sehrawat, who played with Telugu Titans for the past two seasons. “Competing against my former team in front of their home crowd in Vizag is going to be intense. However, I know I’ll receive some support from Titans fans,” he remarked.

Vijay Malik, now at the forefront of the Titans' raiding efforts, shares a similar enthusiasm. “Kicking off the season at home is a significant advantage. The Telugu Titans fans are among the most passionate in the league, and the energy they provide gives us a competitive edge,” he said. “We possess a strong team with an excellent blend this season, and our objective is clear — we are aiming for the trophy.”
