Freya Deshmane Secures Gold at Inaugural Winter Horse Show by Amateur Riders’ Club

Mumbai, Dec 7 (NationPress) Freya Deshmane, riding Reinroe Adare Acrobat, achieved the highest honor by clinching the gold medal on the inaugural day of the Mumbai Winter Horse Shows, organized by the Amateur Riders’ Club at the Mahalaxmi Race Course this past Saturday.
The Mumbai Winter Horse Shows consist of a series of two-day equestrian contests where competitors are preparing for the forthcoming national championships. More than 20 participants are set to compete in this two-day event focused on the Show Jumping discipline at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse.
During Day 1 of the event, Freya Deshmane and her horse Reinroe Adare Acrobat finished with an impressive time of 79 seconds and no penalties, taking the lead. Jethu Singh and Rehaan Shah both secured the second position, with times of 77.31 seconds with 4 penalties and 83.67 seconds with 4 penalties, respectively. Sumer Ahuja took third place, completing the round in 78.25 seconds with 8 penalties.

Events like these offer a robust platform for young riders, particularly novices, to prepare themselves and their horses for both national and international contests.
