New Delhi, 14 April (NationPress) At just 14 years old, Stasya Pandya is rapidly gaining recognition as a dual discipline equestrian athlete on India’s premier equestrian circuits. She first caught the spotlight by clinching a silver medal in the Under 14 division at the 2025 Junior National Equestrian Championship held in Bengaluru.

Her most recent achievements unfolded at the Delhi Horse Show 2026, where the talented young rider secured two medals in distinct disciplines. She won a Team Silver in Dressage riding her horse Consul and also bagged a Team Bronze in Show Jumping, successfully navigating a challenging 1.10-meter course featuring 12 jumps on Cougar De Fees.

For those unacquainted, dressage and show jumping are fundamentally different disciplines. Dressage focuses on precision, rhythm, and harmony, while show jumping tests speed, control, and accuracy over various obstacles. Excelling in both at a national level is a rare feat for a junior rider. Stasya expressed, “Dressage is about patience and connection with your horse, while show jumping demands courage and quick decision-making. I cherish both disciplines as they challenge different facets of my abilities.”

Stasya’s remarkable performances have been noteworthy. At the JNEC 2025 in Bengaluru, she earned a Team Silver in Dressage, followed by a fourth-place finish in Team Show Jumping at the NEC 2025 in Meerut. Previously, at the JNEC 2024 in Delhi, she achieved a Team Bronze in the Children 2 category of Show Jumping. A significant milestone was reached at the FEI Children’s Classic 2025 in Bengaluru, where Stasya qualified for Team India selection trials in the Under 14 category, ranking No. 1 nationally in the Silver Category for Show Jumping and finishing 12th overall.

“Competing at the FEI Children’s Classic against international riders and placing 12th globally reinforced my belief that I belong at this level,” Stasya remarked.

Regionally, she has been recognized as the Best Rider in the Children Category at both the Annual Equestrian Games 2025 in Pune and the Mumbai Horse Show 2025. Additionally, she secured third place at the Dream Alliance Cup 2025 and the Surge Equestrian League 2025, along with a fourth-place finish overall at the Equestrian Premiere League 2025 in Bengaluru.

As infrastructure improves and international exposure increases, with events like the FEI Children’s Classic now taking place in India, the equestrian sport is witnessing a surge in popularity. Stasya Pandya is a shining example of this new generation—young, talented, and ready to elevate Indian equestrianism on the international stage.
