Gujarat Titans Launch Preparations for IPL 2025 with Training Camp in Surat

Surat, Jan 13 (NationPress) The 2022 champions Gujarat Titans have officially started their preparations for the much-anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 by holding a training camp in Surat on Monday. This camp has brought together several key players for early training.
Players such as Anuj Rawat, Ishant Sharma, Jayant Yadav, Kumar Kushagra, Mahipal Lomror, and Arshad Khan have joined the camp alongside the coaching staff and support team.
During the mega auction, which took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia last year, Gujarat Titans established a robust 25-member squad by acquiring top talents like South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada, England's Jos Buttler, one of India's premier pacers Mohammed Siraj, and versatile all-rounder Washington Sundar.
Retained players include India opener Shubman Gill, Afghanistan's Rashid Khan, Tamil Nadu's Sai Sudharsan, Haryana's Rahul Tewatia, and Tamil Nadu's Shahrukh Khan.
In the previous IPL season, the Gujarat Titans ended up in eighth place out of ten teams, following the departure of their captain Hardik Pandya to Mumbai Indians, who coincidentally finished at the bottom of the standings.
Under the guidance of coach Ashish Nehra and captain Shubman Gill, this franchise, owned by CVC Capital Partners, concluded the season with 12 points from 14 matches, securing five wins, suffering seven losses, and having two matches with no results.
