He expressed no regrets regarding his strategy, despite the fact that he did not claim any wickets.
Hazlewood’s ten-over spell was marked by his relentless precision and control, aided by a damp pitch that provided just enough movement to keep the batters on their toes while applying pressure throughout the innings.

“(Participating in the Shield against Victoria) is the plan for now. Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly in the coming week. A couple of T20s in the initial part of the series, and then trying to return to Sydney for the fourth Shield game and have another shot at the SCG,” Hazlewood concluded.
