New Delhi, Nov 6 (NationPress) With only a few weeks remaining before the commencement of the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2025 in Tamil Nadu, Hockey India has unveiled an exciting nationwide Trophy Tour that will see the esteemed World Cup trophy journey through 20 cities across India.
The Trophy Tour is set to commence on November 7 during the centenary celebrations of Hockey India at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi. This event will be graced by notable figures including the Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development of Tamil Nadu, Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin, FIH President Dato Tayyab Ikram, Hockey India President Dr. Dilip Tirkey, Secretary General Bhola Nath Singh, and Treasurer Sekar J Manoharan.
The purpose of the Trophy Tour is to generate enthusiasm and connect with hockey enthusiasts nationwide in anticipation of the global event, scheduled from November 28 to December 10 in Chennai and Madurai.
Fans will have the opportunity to view the trophy up close as it travels through 20 cities before making its way back to Tamil Nadu.
