Hyderabad, March 27 (NationPress) Shardul Thakur claimed 4-34 as Travis Head led the scoring with 47, enabling Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to set a total of 190/9 in 20 overs against Lucknow Super Giants during Match 7 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Thursday.
SRH started with an explosive partnership between Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, maintaining an impressive run rate of 13.5, which is the highest for any duo in IPL history (minimum 500 runs). Head was aggressive, scoring 47 off 28 deliveries, until debutant Prince Yadav claimed his wicket.
In his second over, Shardul Thakur struck twice, removing Abhishek (9) and Ishan Kishan for a golden duck, marking Kishan as the latest player to be dismissed for zero after scoring a century in his previous innings.
