Pattaya, March 21 (NationPress) The Indian national beach soccer team is focused on their upcoming second match in the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup 2025 against Kuwait. The contest is set to take place at the Jomtien Beach Arena in Pattaya on Saturday.
India kicked off their Beach Soccer Asian Cup journey, marking their return after 18 years, with a 0-3 defeat to the host nation, Thailand. In another group match, Lebanon triumphed over Kuwait with a score of 5-4. The leading two teams from the group will advance to the quarter-finals.
Head coach Mohd Faizal Bin Sood emphasized the necessity of minimizing errors on the sand.
“It's crucial for us to reduce our mistakes while simultaneously creating more scoring opportunities. We possess a talented squad, and if we implement our strategies effectively, we can achieve positive outcomes,” Faizal stated on AIFF's official website.
