Dubai, Jan 25 (NationPress) Smriti Mandhana, Richa Ghosh, and Deepti Sharma from India have earned their place in the ICC Women's T20I Team of the Year due to their remarkable performances in 2024.

Under the captaincy of Laura Wolvaardt, the team features three players from India, alongside two from South Africa, and one each from Sri Lanka, West Indies, England, New Zealand, Ireland, and Pakistan.

Smriti Mandhana commenced the year with an impressive 54 runs against Australia at the DY Patil Stadium, marking the start of a series of exceptional T20I displays.

Demonstrating her consistency, Mandhana wrapped up the year with three consecutive half-centuries against West Indies at home, showcasing her dependability in this format.

Her stellar performances have earned her the second position in the ICC Women’s T20I Batting Rankings.

Richa Ghosh, the Indian wicketkeeper-batter, is noted for her aggressive run-scoring capabilities, often leading the attack with her dynamic style of play.
