Sonam (21’) and Kanika Siwach (46’, 50’) were instrumental in India's success, each contributing key goals, while Milagros Seigal (3’) and Agustina Mari (24’) netted for Uruguay.

Uruguay took an early advantage, with Milagros Seigal converting a penalty corner in the 3rd minute. However, India quickly responded, equalizing through a penalty corner goal by Sonam in the 21st minute.
