New Delhi, March 15 (NationPress) India’s extraordinary performance at the Special Olympics Winter Games continued during the third and fourth days, with athletes achieving an impressive addition of 15 medals to the overall tally. This brings India’s total medal count to 24, building on the nine medals earned in prior events.

In the Alpine Skiing events, Deepak Thakur and Giridhar showcased their exceptional talent by winning gold medals in the Intermediate Super G M04 and M05 categories respectively. Meanwhile, Abhishek Kumar earned a silver in the Novice Super G M01 category, and Radha Devi also excelled, bringing home a silver medal in the Intermediate Super G F03 event.

On the ice, Ziara Porter exhibited remarkable speed and tenacity, securing silver medals in the 111M F1 and 222M F2 events of Short Track Speed Skating. Tanshu contributed with a bronze in the 777M M2 category and a silver in the 500M M3 category.
