Bengaluru, March 28 (NationPress) The IPL 2026 inaugural match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium witnessed a thrilling return of fans, who expressed their joy and appreciation for the enhanced arrangements while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.

This Saturday's match also signifies the much-anticipated comeback of competitive cricket to M. Chinnaswamy Stadium for the first time since May 17, 2025, following a tragic incident during RCB’s championship celebrations on June 4 that resulted in the loss of 11 lives.

My condolences to the families affected, but I can see that precautions have been implemented. Based on last year’s experience, the management has taken significant steps to ensure everything is in order."

In the match, defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) introduced pacers Abhinandan Singh and Jacob Duffy as captain Rajat Patidar chose to bowl first.

Another supporter expressed her excitement, saying, "This is my second time here. The last match was canceled due to rain, and I was heartbroken. The atmosphere at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium has always been energetic.
