New Delhi, Jan 21 (NationPress) Sources from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) informed IANS that the board is currently awaiting the government’s announcement regarding the election dates before they can finalize the schedule for the 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League.
Additionally, it was conveyed that both Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru have been instructed to confirm their home venues by the end of the week.
With elections set to occur across several states in India, the BCCI is on hold for the government to reveal the dates for the polls in Assam, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal.
