New Delhi, Mar 7 (NationPress) The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), the worldwide authority overseeing the Olympic discipline of Shooting, has designated a spot in its international schedule for the debut of the Shooting League of India (SLI), set to take place from November 24 to December 7, 2025.

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) had previously expressed its plans to host the SLI last November. With the ISSF's official endorsement, the league is poised to become a premier shooting event, showcasing elite Indian shooters competing against the finest in the sport.

Expressing enthusiasm about this milestone, Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo, President of the NRAI, stated, “We are all very excited. With the ISSF now recognising the SLI and allotting a window for it in its official calendar, it is now officially an international competition.”

Given India’s already prominent status in the sport on a global scale, this recognition is expected to draw numerous elite shooters to participate in the league, which is distinguished by its unique format. Extensive preparations are underway, further inspiring us to present one of the most impressive shooting sport events ever witnessed.”

Recently, the NRAI also appointed Elena Norman as the Consultant for the SLI and New Horizons Alliance Pvt. Ltd. as its Commercial and Marketing Agency.
