Ahmedabad, March 25 (NationPress) The middle-order batsman for Punjab Kings, Shashank Singh, disclosed that his captain, Shreyas Iyer, advised him from the very first ball he faced to disregard the potential milestone for Iyer and concentrate on his performance.
Iyer maintained his remarkable form from the Champions Trophy into the current season, which was highlighted when he struck his first ball faced for a brilliant boundary over mid-off, achieving a stunning strike rate of 230.95. His innings included nine sixes and five boundaries, finishing at an impressive unbeaten 97.
