Jaipur, Nov 26 (NationPress) In a thrilling opening match, the Jaipur Polo Team showcased their prowess by decisively defeating the Leopards with a final score of 13–5.

From the very start, Jaipur exhibited exceptional teamwork, strategic play, and remarkable finishing skills, leading throughout all four chukkers.

Among Jaipur's 13 goals, the standout players were HH Maharaja Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, who scored four goals, and Lance Watson, who netted an impressive seven goals. Supporting this relentless offense was Pranav Kapur, contributing two goals.

Jaipur began aggressively, with early contributions from Pranav Kapur, Lance Watson, and HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur. Despite the Leopards' attempts, Jaipur finished the chukker in the lead, setting a commanding tone for the match.

The momentum remained firmly in Jaipur's favor as Lance Watson added more goals. The Leopards struggled to find scoring opportunities and managed just one goal, increasing the score gap. By halftime, Jaipur led 6-3.

While the Leopards made an effort to fight back with a goal from Th Bhawani Singh Kalvi, Jaipur maintained control, further extending their lead with additional goals and strong midfield dominance.

With confidence, Jaipur concluded the match with impressive finishing from HH Jaipur and Lance Watson, sealing a convincing 13–5 victory.

Earlier this week, the Jaipur Polo Team celebrated winning the Kashmir Challenge Cup, overcoming Kanota Polo with a score of 9–5 at the Rajasthan Polo Club.

This latest victory brings Jaipur's trophy count to four in the ongoing Indian Polo Season, with more than half of the season still to come.

Previously, the Jaipur Polo Team claimed titles in the Gen Amar Singh Kanota Cup, the Sawai Man Guard Cup, and the Chinkara Cup, defeating the Mayfair Polo Team, Kognivera Stallions Polo Team, and Carysil Polo, respectively.
