On a day marked by challenging winds, Khalin Joshi (68-68) maintained his composure from tee to green to take the lead. He recorded four birdies and a single bogey on the final hole.
“I had a pretty solid day. From tee to green, I hit it well. It was windy, but overall, I’m happy with my ball-striking and am now looking forward to the weekend. The big challenge was dealing with the switching wind. I feel I negotiated the conditions well,” Khalin shared.

Dhruv Sheoran (67-70) appeared poised to increase his lead after starting with an eagle and establishing a three-shot edge through 12 holes. Nevertheless, he encountered back-to-back bogeys on the 16th and 17th holes, resulting in his fall to second place.
A group of six players—including Viraj Madappa, Sri Lanka’s N. Thangaraja, and the Chandigarh trio of Brashwarpal Singh, Akshay Sharma, and Manjot Singh, along with Dubai-based Yash Majmudar—find themselves tied for fourth at two-under 140. The cut came at six-over 148, with 52 out of 130 competitors qualifying for the final two rounds.
