Under the leadership of seasoned Indian opener Ajinkya Rahane, KKR will kick off their IPL 2026 journey against the five-time champions, Mumbai Indians, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 29.
Their first home game is set for April 2 against the 2016 champions, Sunrisers Hyderabad, at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata, followed by matches against Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants on April 6 and April 9, respectively.
Currently, KKR is conducting trials during their pre-season camp to finalize replacements for injured fast bowlers Harshit Rana and Akash Deep. Players such as Navdeep Saini, Akash Madhwal, Simarjeet Singh, Sandeep Warrier, KM Asif, and Sunil Kumar are participating in these trials to secure their spots in the KKR lineup.
