LeBron Reflects on His Historic Minutes Played in NBA

Sacramento, Dec 20 (NationPress) LeBron James, a player whose enduring career will be a topic of discussion for generations, eclipsed the legendary six-time NBA MVP Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the record of the most minutes logged in NBA history during the Los Angeles Lakers' triumph over the Sacramento Kings on Thursday.

Already recognized as the all-time leader in career points, a record he also took from Kareem, LeBron achieved this milestone in the 10th minute, bringing his total to 57,447 minutes and counting over 1,517 games.

“It’s just a commitment to the craft and to the passion and love I have for the game,” James expressed after Thursday’s shootaround. “I don’t take much time in the offseason; I take a little bit more time now.”

“I didn’t take much time in the offseason, regardless of making 10 Finals appearances back to back, always striving to keep my body in tip-top shape,” he elaborated.

LeBron also holds the NBA records for career field-goal attempts and turnovers, and ranks fourth in assists, eighth in steals, and 29th in rebounds.

The Lakers secured a 113-100 victory against the Kings, improving their season record to 15-12. Despite a minor setback, the team coached by JJ Redick has now won three out of their last four games and aims to maintain their winning streak as they currently stand in seventh place in the Western Conference.

In this game, LeBron contributed 19 points, seven assists, and six rebounds, complementing Austin Reaves, who excelled with 25 points on 7 of 14 field goals made.
