This year, the league has been moved from Indore to Gwalior due to the approaching monsoon in Indore and the delayed conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Notably, Gwalior was the venue for the inaugural season of the MPL last year, making it a well-known location for both players and organizers. Initially, the league was scheduled to start on May 27 in Indore, coinciding with the IPL's earlier end date on May 25.
