Indore, Sep 2 (NationPress) Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, along with his son and the newly appointed president of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA), Mahanaryaman Scindia, participated in a prayer ceremony at the Khajrana Ganesh temple in Indore on Tuesday.
The duo arrived in Indore from New Delhi on Monday night in anticipation of the MPCA annual general meeting taking place at Holkar Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
After the meeting, the newly elected office-bearers will officially begin their tenure.
Mahanaryaman Scindia, aged 29 and the vice-president of the Gwalior Division Cricket Association, was elected unanimously as MPCA president on Monday.
He represents the third generation of the Scindia family to lead the cricket association, becoming its youngest president since its inception in 1957.
The new executive committee for the MPCA includes Vineet Sethia as vice-president, Sudhir Asnani as secretary, Arundhati Kherkire as joint secretary, and Sanjeev Dua as treasurer.
