Ranchi, July 10 (NationPress) Hockey Mizoram and Hockey Association of Bihar concluded their campaigns triumphantly in their last league matches in Division ‘A’ of the 15th Hockey India Sub-Junior Women's National Championship 2025 held at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Astroturf Hockey Stadium on Thursday.

With victories on the eighth day of competition, Mizoram and Bihar have secured their spots in the knockout quarterfinals.

In the opening match on Thursday, Hockey Mizoram achieved a convincing 4-0 win against Delhi in Division ‘A’. Captain Vanlalrinhlui (13’, 34’) played a pivotal role, scoring two goals and becoming the top goal-scorer for Hockey Mizoram.

Lalremruati Esther (17’) and Laldinpuii (51’) also found the net, further extending the lead over Delhi. This victory placed Hockey Mizoram firmly at the top of Pool ‘D’ with six points.

In the other match, Hockey Association of Bihar triumphed over Delhi with a dominating score of 6-0 in another Division ‘A’ clash. Pushpanjali Kumari (2’, 35’, 58’) notably scored a hat-trick.
