Mumbai, June 16 (NationPress) The former champion of the Indian Super League (ISL), Mumbai City, has officially revealed the acquisition of Zothanpuia from Aizawl FC. This promising midfielder has signed a lucrative three-year deal with the Islanders.
The 20-year-old athlete began his professional journey with Electric Veng FC in Mizoram in 2022. He then played for Oranje FC in the I-League 2 during the 2023-24 season and subsequently represented Southern Samity in the 2024 Calcutta League. Affectionately known as ‘Puipuia’, he joined Aizawl FC for the I-League season in 2024-25, where he made 20 appearances, netting three goals and providing two assists.
