Munich, Feb 14 (NationPress) Jamal Musiala has officially extended his contract with FC Bayern Munich until June 2030. Initially set to expire in 2026, this agreement ensures that the talented German midfielder will continue with the renowned Bavarian club.
As one of the most coveted young players in European football, Musiala attracted interest from multiple clubs regarding his contract status with Bayern.
“I’m really delighted. Bayern is among the largest clubs globally. I began my professional career here and am confident that we can accomplish great things together in the coming years. I feel a sense of belonging in both Munich and at the club, surrounded by our amazing fans. We have numerous goals to achieve, and I’m looking forward to everything ahead,” Musiala expressed in a statement.
Having moved to England as a child, Musiala spent the majority of his youth training at the Chelsea academy. After eight years, he transitioned to Bayern's U17 squad, where his rapid ascent led to his senior debut in May 2020, marking him as Bayern’s youngest goalscorer in the Champions League at just 17 years and 363 days.
