Nashik, June 14 (NationPress) TVS Racing's Aishwarya Pissay, recognized as India's sole FIM World Cup champion and a three-time world titleholder, is poised to maintain her momentum in Round 2 of the 2025 FMSCI National Rally Championship for 2-wheelers this Sunday.

After a commanding victory in Round 1 at Indore last month, the 2019 FIM Baja World Cup Ladies Champion and eleven-time national titleholder is on a path to clinch her record seventh national rally championship.

Recently returning from her international endeavors, where she achieved a second overall position in her class at both Baja Aragon and Hungary, Aishwarya is now ranked third in the 2025 FIM Bajas World Cup standings, adding significance to her return to domestic racing.

"This round, being a tarmac rally, will challenge both precision and endurance," Aishwarya stated. "I have dedicated considerable time to tarmac training in preparation, and I’m prepared to give my all. Winning at Indore was the ideal start to the season, and I aim to carry that momentum forward to solidify my lead in the championship," she added, receiving support from Petronas TVS Racing along with Micro Labs, IIFL, and Surana College.

The Rally of Nashik will showcase a 17.5 km Special Stage, executed three times in the forward direction from Veernagar to Aadgaon Deola, totaling 52.5 km of competitive racing primarily on uneven tarmac. The overall rally distance, inclusive of liaison, will be 122.5 km.

The ceremonial flag-off took place on Saturday at Amboli Holiday Home, Tal Trimbakeshwar, with all competitive stages scheduled for Sunday.

Organized by Godspeed Racing, the six-round MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Rally Championship for 2-Wheelers 2025 stands as one of India’s leading two-wheeler rally series sanctioned by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).
