New Delhi, Sep 10 (NationPress) The reigning T20I world champions have revealed a squad brimming with potential as they prepare for their inaugural Cricket World Cup. After a significant transition since the last tournament they hosted in 2022, New Zealand's lineup includes six players set to make their debut in a 50-over Cricket World Cup and four who will participate in their first senior ICC event.
Among the debutantes is 22-year-old all-rounder Flora Devonshire, who has earned her first ODI call-up after an impressive domestic season, as noted by the ICC.
Captain Sophie Devine will lead New Zealand for the fifth time in a World Cup, marking her final appearance in ODI cricket for the national team.
