Ranchi, March 22 (NationPress) The leading teams, Hockey Association of Odisha, Hockey Haryana, and Hockey Mizoram, celebrated significant victories on the fourth day of the Final Phase of the National Women’s Hockey League 2024-2025 held at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda International Hockey Stadium on Saturday.
In the opening match, the Hockey Association of Odisha triumphed over Manipur Hockey with a score of 5-1 in a Pool A clash. Surekha Bahala (38’, 40’, 42’) netted a hat-trick for the Hockey Association of Odisha, while Shibani Lugun (6’) and Dipika Barwa (9’) each added a goal.
For Manipur Hockey, Kamala Devi Ningombam (7’) provided a solitary consolation goal.
