Dubai, Nov 12 (NationPress) Pakistan's batsman Salman Agha and bowler Abrar Ahmed have achieved personal best rankings in the ICC Men’s ODI Player Rankings due to their stellar performances during the recent home series against South Africa and Sri Lanka.
Salman's remarkable innings of 105 not out from 87 balls in the opening ODI against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi, along with scores of 69 and 5 not out in the preceding series against South Africa, propelled him up the rankings by 14 places to 16th among batters. He now holds the position of the second-highest ranked Pakistani player in this format, following Babar Azam, who is ranked seventh.
Meanwhile, Abrar's outstanding bowling figures of 3 wickets for 53 runs and 4 for 27 against South Africa have elevated him by 17 places to 20th in the bowling rankings. He now stands just four spots behind Shaheen Shah Afridi, Pakistan's leading bowler in this format, who is positioned at 16th.
