New Delhi, June 12 (NationPress) Rishabh Pant, the wicketkeeper-batter for India, has conveyed his enthusiasm for the forthcoming five-Test series against England, sharing an image of himself in a Test jersey on social media platforms.
Pant took to X and shared his picture in Test whites with the caption, "Reporting for national duty."
Since making his Test debut in England back in 2018, Pant has participated in 12 matches against England, amassing 781 runs with a remarkable high score of 146, achieved in 2022 in Birmingham. Of these 12 matches, he has played nine on English turf, accumulating 556 runs at an average of 32.70.
However, Pant faced challenges during the last Test series in Australia, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, where he played all five Tests, scoring 255 runs at an average of 28.33, with only one half-century to his name.
