Pardeep Narwal: Junior Players Stand to Gain the Most from PKL Melbourne Raid

Melbourne, Dec 27 (NationPress) Pro Kabaddi League icon Pardeep Narwal has expressed that the upcoming PKL Melbourne Raid, scheduled for December 28 in Australia, will be extremely advantageous for both senior and junior players alike.
The PKL Melbourne Raid holds particular importance as it signifies the league's ambitious push into the international arena. For Narwal, a veteran of the Pro Kabaddi League since its second season, this Australian tour represents more than just a series of matches.
"Since the inception of Pro Kabaddi League Season 2, our lives have undergone a remarkable transformation. This tour to Australia is pivotal not only for us but also for the junior players accompanying us, as well as for seniors who have stepped away from kabaddi," he remarked.
Narwal is optimistic that this tour will foster opportunities for cultural exchange and learning, even for the Australian team: "We’ve heard that an Indian coach has been training them for a month and a half... our senior players who are joining will impart their knowledge, too. It will be exciting to see their team and players progress to the level of Pro Kabaddi in the future."
Reflecting on his beginnings, Narwal recounted that his initial aspiration was merely to secure a job in the armed forces through the sports quota; he never envisioned representing kabaddi in a nation like Australia.
“I never envisioned this,” Narwal pondered, his voice imbued with the weight of his experiences. “I only dreamed of securing a job, perhaps in the army through kabaddi, to better support my family. I never imagined I would travel to other countries to compete, or that my name would gain such prominence."
He highlighted that the Pro Kabaddi League has not only changed his life but has also been a transformative force for every player involved. "It’s not just one individual - every player who participates in Pro Kabaddi has had their lives altered by the league. I firmly believe this. The upcoming junior players will also ascend - if not today, then tomorrow or in the next season. Their lives will certainly be transformed when they reach this level."
With optimism for the future, Narwal spoke fondly of the next generation. “The most significant aspect is that they are journeying with such seasoned players,” he emphasized, pointing out how juniors will gain essential discipline from their experienced counterparts.
