New Delhi, Dec 24 (NationPress) Patrick Farhart, who previously served as the physiotherapist for the India men's cricket team, has been appointed as the Global Head of Science and Medicine for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), as confirmed by a franchise representative to IANS on Wednesday.
In addition to his role with LSG, Farhart will extend his expertise to its associated franchises, which include the Durban Super Giants in SA20 and the Manchester Originals in The Hundred.
According to an LSG official, "Patrick Farhart will commence his duties as Global Head of Science and Medicine effective today. His responsibilities will kick off with the upcoming SA20 season for the Durban franchise," the representative informed IANS.
With over two decades of experience, Farhart has also worked as the physio for the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League, as well as the Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.
His previous roles include serving as the Performance Director for New South Wales, Hampshire, and the Australian national team, alongside collaborations with major rugby and football teams in Australia.
