Pune, Dec 5 (NationPress) The UP Yoddhas and Dabang Delhi KC were both in top form during their inaugural game of the Pune leg at the Badminton Hall in the Balewadi Sports Complex on Thursday evening as part of PKL Season 11. The matchup was fiercely contested, culminating in a tie with the final score reading 32-32.

For the UP Yoddhas, Gagan Gowda led the scoring with 13 points, while Bhavani Rajput contributed 10 points. On the other hand, Ashu Malik secured another Super 10 for the Dabang Delhi KC.

The game kicked off with Ashu Malik and Gagan Gowda performing exceptionally well for their respective teams. The initial phases were intense, with both teams trading points evenly, neither able to seize the upper hand. The first ten points were evenly distributed before the UP Yoddhas gained a slight edge thanks to Gagan Gowda.

While Gagan Gowda and Bhavani Rajput took on the scoring duties for the UP Yoddhas, Naveen Kumar and Ashu Malik spearheaded the efforts for the Dabang Delhi KC. As the first half progressed, the UP Yoddhas managed to extend their lead, yet their rivals responded with resilient defense. Rahul's Super Tackle and Himanshu's two-point raid reduced the gap to a single point, allowing the Dabang Delhi KC to briefly take the lead just before halftime. The first-half score was 13-12 in favor of Dabang Delhi KC.

In the early minutes of the second half, Naveen Express executed an All Out on the UP Yoddhas, granting his team a crucial advantage. The Dabang Delhi KC defense effectively thwarted the opposition's attacks during the beginning of this half, while Naveen consistently earned vital points on the offensive end. The match saw a back-and-forth rhythm, with both teams' raiders challenging the defenders.

By the half-hour mark, the Dabang Delhi KC maintained their lead and seemed to be in control. However, after a brief period, Gagan Gowda stepped up, delivering an All Out on the Dabang Delhi KC, marking his third Super 10 of the season and giving the UP Yoddhas the upper hand.

As the match approached its final five minutes, Dabang Delhi KC needed to overcome a 3-point deficit, contending with the duo of Gagan Gowda and Bhavani Rajput. With under two minutes remaining, Ashu Malik made a crucial play with a two-point raid, which tied the scores and earned him his 13th Super 10 of the season.

In the closing moments, Bhavani Rajput also achieved his Super 10, but both teams, having given their all, left the mat with a hard-fought tie.
