PKL Season 11: Devank, Ayan, and Shubham excel as Patna Pirates dominate Bengaluru Bulls by 25 Points

Noida, Nov 30 (NationPress) The Patna Pirates returned to their rhythm as they clinched an impressive 54–29 victory over the Bengaluru Bulls at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Saturday.

The dynamic raiding pair of Devank Dalal, the green-sleeve holder with 164 points, and Ayan Lohchab once again showcased their skills with remarkable Super 10s, while Shubham Shinde's High 5 significantly contributed to the team's splendid win.

The raiders from the Patna Pirates kicked off the match with their characteristic speed, with Ayan Lohchab spearheading the attack this time. However, the Bengaluru Bulls kept up the pressure as Pardeep Narwal and Nitin Rawal ensured their team stayed competitive in both raiding and defense.

Pardeep Narwal amazed the crowd with a stunning 'Dubki' that sent Arkam Shaikh to the ground, eliciting cheers from the fans. Twelve minutes into the game, Jai Bhagwan outmaneuvered a five-man defense and dodged a dash from Deepak on the right cover. However, following this brief setback, the Patna Pirates intensified their efforts in the last six minutes of the first half.

Devank trapped Jai Bhagwan and Lucky Kumar as the Patna Pirates executed an All Out against the Bengaluru Bulls with six minutes left in the first half. Ayan rounded off a Super 10 with a Super Raid, bringing the score to 22-12 at halftime.

Two minutes into the second half, a second All Out was inflicted on the Bengaluru Bulls after Jai Bhagwan was caught by Ankit Jaglan. Just when it appeared that the Patna Pirates were heading for another substantial win, the Bengaluru Bulls began their comeback. Lucky Kumar managed to tackle Devank, earning a Super Tackle, and then Pardeep Narwal showcased his record-breaking prowess with an extraordinary Super Raid that took down Gurdeep, Thiyagarajan Yuvaraj, and Ayan, leaving the Patna Pirates with only three players on the mat.

Even though it looked like the Bengaluru Bulls might turn the tables, the Patna Pirates maintained their composure. Devank Dalal steadily moved towards another Super 10 this season, while Shubham Shinde executed a Super Tackle against the formidable Pardeep Narwal. A third All Out in the final minute sealed the fate for the Bengaluru Bulls as the three-time PKL champions, Patna Pirates, celebrated a significant 25-point triumph, led by Devank's 17 points, Ayan's 13 points, and Shubham Shinde's 7 points.
