PKL Season 11: Devank Dalal Steers Patna Pirates to Victory Against Bengal Warriorz; Maninder Singh Enters 1500-Point Elite Club

Noida, Dec 1 (NationPress) The match was intensely contested until the final whistle, but ultimately, the Patna Pirates emerged victorious against the Bengal Warriorz, securing a 38-35 victory in the last Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 match at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Sunday.

Devank Dalal reached a total of 194 Raid Points with another impressive Super 10 performance, finishing the game with 13 points. Meanwhile, Deepak achieved a well-deserved High 5. Despite the loss, it was a memorable night for Bengal Warriorz’ star raider Maninder Singh, who marked his entry into the 1500 raid points club—a milestone only previously attained by Pardeep Narwal.

The Bengal Warriorz demonstrated their capabilities in the first half, successfully limiting the raiding efforts of Devank Dalal and Ayan Lohchab. Both teams exchanged points in a thrilling back-and-forth contest, with Maninder Singh spearheading the Bengal Warriorz with his signature aggressive raiding.

As neither team could establish a significant lead, Devank stood out as a key player for the Patna Pirates. As the first half drew to a close, it was Devank who once again propelled his team forward. A remarkable Super Raid saw him take down Fazel Atrachali and Mayur Kadam, allowing his team to take a four-point advantage, ending the first half with a score of 19-15.

Maninder Singh and Nitin Kumar Dhankar continued to apply pressure on the Patna Pirates, but they were the only significant threats for the Bengal Warriorz. Additionally, Ayan Lohchab executed a standout Super Raid, taking down Nitesh Kumar, Maninder Singh, and Siddhesh Tatkare. The first all-out was soon inflicted on the Bengal Warriorz, following Deepak's successful tackle of Nitin, as the Patna Pirates began to pull away.

As the match reached its climax, the Bengal Warriorz narrowed the gap on the Patna Pirates’ lead. Mayur Kadam caught Ayan in a do-or-die raid, which also marked a Super Tackle, followed by Vishwas S taking down Arkam Shaikh and Deepak, thereby reducing the point difference.

As the game wound down, the formidable Maninder inscribed his name in the records by hitting the milestone of 1500 raid points. He also achieved his Super 10, bringing his team closer to the Patna Pirates, but in the end, the three-time PKL champions clinched the match by a narrow three-point margin.
