Pune, Dec 6 (NationPress) Mohammadreza Shadloui and Shivam Patare emerged as the top scorers as the Haryana Steelers clinched victory against the Patna Pirates with a score of 42-36 in a thrilling match during Season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League, held at the Badminton Hall in the Balewadi Sports Complex on Friday.

The match was filled with intense emotions from both sides, but ultimately, the Haryana Steelers secured the win. Patare contributed 11 points to the team's score, while Shadloui added nine points, and Sanjay achieved a commendable High-5. On the other hand, Devank scored 13 points, marking his 200-point milestone in just 16 games this season, making him the top raider of PKL Season 11.

Both the Haryana Steelers and Patna Pirates displayed remarkable form in the tournament, starting the game with great energy, matching each other point for point in the early stages. However, the Haryana Steelers began to find their rhythm, with Patare and Shadloui taking the lead.

As the first half progressed, the three-time champions held a narrow lead with Devank and Ankit heavily contributing to the score. As the half continued, Devank, Navdeep, and Ankit began to dominate for the Patna Pirates. With about five minutes remaining in the half, Devank executed an All Out on the Haryana Steelers, granting his team a four-point lead. At halftime, the Patna Pirates were ahead 17-16.

Shortly into the second half, Devank reached his 200th raid point and was on his way to another Super 10. In response, Patare executed a Super Raid, followed by the Haryana Steelers’ defense performing an ALL OUT on the Patna Pirates, narrowing the gap to just one point.

The intensity of the match escalated as Devank returned with a three-point raid, achieving his 12th Super 10 in the process. Shadloui then made a crucial Super Tackle, earning his High-5, which allowed the Haryana Steelers to gain the upper hand. As the match reached the half-hour mark, the tension was palpable, with both teams vying for dominance.

As the final ten minutes approached, Patare quickly completed his Super 10, propelling the Haryana Steelers to a four-point advantage and shifting the momentum in their favor. The Haryana Steelers then executed another ALL OUT with five minutes remaining, extending their lead to seven points.

In the closing moments, the Haryana Steelers accelerated their performance, solidifying their advantage and securing an impressive victory.
