New Delhi, Aug 20 (NationPress) The Chief Patron of the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI), Vanathi Srinivasan, had an audience with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and extended an invitation for him to inaugurate the opening ceremony of the World Para Championship 2025.

India is preparing to host the most significant para-sport event ever seen on its grounds, with representatives from 104 countries and more than 2,500 para-athletes and support personnel in attendance.

Scheduled to take place at the renowned Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JLN Stadium) in New Delhi from September 27 to October 5, 2025, this event is set to be a remarkable tribute to human spirit, tenacity, and athletic excellence.

With an impressive 186 medal events across categories for men, women, and mixed teams, the championship will feature intense rivalries, unforgettable experiences, and motivating stories of perseverance on a grand international platform.
