New Delhi, Oct 15 (NationPress) Puneri Paltan reinforced their dominance at the top of the standings with a decisive 57-33 victory over the Jaipur Pink Panthers in Season 12 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday. This remarkable score also marks the highest points achieved by any team this season.

The Paltan's outstanding performance was spearheaded by High Fives from Gaurav Khatri and Vaibhav Rabade. Additionally, Pankaj Mohite contributed nine points, while Aslam Inamdar added six. For the Pink Panthers, Ali Samadi recorded a Super 10, and Vinay managed eight points, but it was insufficient for his team.

Puneri Paltan wasted no time establishing their superiority in this match, with Aslam and Pankaj Mohite executing multi-point raids to take an early 4-0 lead. Although Ali Samadi opened the scoring for the Pink Panthers, they quickly succumbed to pressure, suffering an All Out just four minutes into the game.

Aslam Inamdar maintained the momentum for his team, supported by Abinesh Nadarajan's defensive efforts. Consequently, the table-toppers surged ahead with a ten-point advantage at 14-4. Nevertheless, Ali Samadi displayed commendable perseverance, enabling the Pink Panthers to narrow the gap to seven points after the first ten minutes.

The raider consistently kept the scoreboard active for his side, leading them to their first All Out, reducing the deficit to five points. Despite his valiant efforts and defensive backing, the Jaipur Pink Panthers struggled to close the gap further. A Super Tackle by Aashish Kumar near the end of the first half left the score at 23-17 after twenty minutes.

Beginning the second half as they did the first, Puneri Paltan quickly asserted their dominance again. A tackle by Mohd Amaan enabled them to inflict a second All Out, extending their lead to eight points. Gaurav Khatri and Aditya Shinde built on that momentum, while Vaibhav Rabade executed several tackles to facilitate yet another All Out, boosting the Paltan's lead to 38-24.

Ali Samadi completed his Super 10 performance, and Vinay Redhu made contributions for the Pink Panthers. However, their efforts fell short in staging a comeback. Abhishek Gunge entered with a Super Raid, and Gaurav Khatri notched his High Five as the Paltan crossed the fifty-point threshold.

In a commanding performance, Puneri Paltan ultimately triumphed with a 57-33 victory, ensuring their spot in the top two. This match not only showcased the highest points scored by a team this season but also represented the largest margin of victory (24 points), underscoring their dominance throughout the game.
