Jaipur, April 13 (NationPress) Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has emerged victorious in the toss and chosen to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals during the 28th match of the IPL 2025 season at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday.
RCB captain Rajat Patidar announced that they have retained their playing XI while sporting green jerseys to promote awareness for tree planting.
"We will bowl first. The pitch seems quite sturdy and favorable. This (green jersey) is to spread awareness about tree planting. We are maintaining the same team," he stated at the toss.
Conversely, Rajasthan Royals have made one alteration with Wanindu Hasaranga replacing Fazalhaq Farooqi.
Rajasthan Royals' captain Sanju Samson remarked, "We also intended to bowl first. Typically, the batting improves here according to local insights. We understand the conditions, and if we respect our rivals and play to our potential, we should perform well. There will be ups and downs, but we cannot allow doubts to infiltrate the dressing room. Hasaranga will take the place of Farooqi."
