Rising Stars Prepare for Epic Finale in Coimbatore's Novice Cup

Coimbatore, De 19 (NationPress) Motorsport enthusiasts are set for an exhilarating experience starting Friday, as young and passionate racing talents from around the nation compete for a spot on the podium in the Novice Cup at the Kari Motor Speedway circuit in Chettipalayam. This event is a key part of the 27th JK Tyre-FMSCI National Racing Championship, and the two-day competition is anticipated to showcase the skills of these emerging stars who aspire to end 2024 on a triumphant note. The drivers are certainly ready to press the pedal to the metal like never before, fully aware that victory could earn them the title of overall champion for the season.

The Novice Cup has drawn in 22 competitors from seven teams: Zion Racing, MSport, DTS Racing, Momentum Motorsport, Delta Speed, Ahura Racing, and Avalanche Racing. These teams will be competing for the coveted top spot on the podium. Over the course of Friday and Saturday, there will be five races, and the standout performer will be crowned the overall champion of 2024.

Introduced in 2018, the Novice Cup is a highly anticipated feeder series within the National Racing Championship. Its purpose is to provide a fair and equal opportunity for newcomers who are eager to transition into formula racing after their experiences in karting.

Several participants who have excelled in this championship have successfully moved up to higher levels of racing. Notable graduates include the national racing champion Ruhaan Alva from Bengaluru, the current reigning champion of the National Racing Championship in Formula LGB4 Tijil Rao, also from Bengaluru, as well as Amir Sayed from Kottayam, Vishwas Vijayraj, Arjun Nair, and Naethan.
