The Egyptian topped the votes from his peers in this year's six-man shortlist, which included his teammate Alexis Mac Allister, marking the 10th time a player from Liverpool has secured this esteemed accolade.
Upon receiving the PFA award, which he also won in 2017-18 and 2021-22, Salah shared his thoughts, saying, "Fantastic, fantastic. This has never occurred in the Premier League; it's a moment I will always remember and never take for granted. I'm truly grateful for this achievement."
Salah netted 34 goals and provided 23 assists during his 52 appearances last season, breaking numerous records along the way. Reflecting on his previous season, the winger noted, "We had a phenomenal season, and I also had my best performance at the club, perhaps even in my career. Winning the league was a joy, and I hope to continue this success this year."

Salah has established himself as a Liverpool legend since joining from AS Roma in the summer of 2017. He signed a new contract in April that will keep him at Anfield until 2027.
"My hunger remains strong – that’s why I extended my stay at Liverpool for another two years. Competing at this level in the Premier League is fantastic. At my age of 33, I feel I can contribute more and make a difference in every game. I take pride in my hard work to achieve this," he concluded.
