Chennai, Oct 3 (NationPress) Sarthak Chavan, the 18-year-old sensation from Pune and the leading rider of the Petronas TVS Racing team, overcame a crash during the free practice session earlier today to secure the pole position just hours later, dominating the qualifying round in the prestigious Pro-Stock 301-400cc Open class as the fourth leg of the MMSC fmsci Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship 2025 kicked off at the Madras International Circuit this Friday.

Despite a crash in the morning practice where he lagged by 1.1 seconds, Sarthak delivered an impressive qualifying lap, timing 01 minute, 48.047 seconds on the 3.712 Kms circuit, gearing up for a showdown with Rahil Pillarisetty from Hyderabad, aged 27 and currently leading the championship with a score of nine points over Sarthak, who qualified in P2 with a time of 01:48.084.
