Coimbatore, Aug 2 (NationPress) Pune's young talent Sarthak Chavan (Petronas TVS Racing) achieved an impressive victory, marking his second win in just three races, in the top-tier Pro-Stock 301-400cc Open category at the Rolon Round of the MMSC fmsci Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship 2025 held at Kari Motor Speedway on Saturday.

Starting from P3, the 18-year-old Sarthak navigated through several close encounters with the pole-sitter, Rahil Pillarisetty from Hyderabad (RACR Castrol Power1), who ultimately finished third, behind Chennai's Johann Reeves Emmanuel (Motul KTM Gusto Racing India) in a thrilling 10-lap race filled with incidents.

In another highlight, Jagathishree Kumaresan, a 21-year-old from Chennai racing for One Racing, made headlines by winning all three races she entered. The reigning champion triumphed in both of her races in the Girls (Stock 165cc) category of the National Championship, and additionally secured victory in the Women’s race of the Petronas TVS India One-Make Championship.

In her first race in the Girls category, Jagathishree began from P3 but surged to P1. However, in her second race, despite starting from pole position and facing a setback to fifth place, she rallied back to clinch the win against two former champions, Ryhana Bee (KYT Helmet ISBK Racing) and Ann Jennifer (Motul Sparks Racing).

Meanwhile, Mad Rabbit Racing had a successful day, with their riders, including 18-year-old Savion Sabu from Bengaluru, Amit Prasad from Mysuru, and Mohamed Mikail from Thiruvallur, winning the Pro-Stock 165-200cc Open, Stock 165cc (Novice), and Stock 301-400cc (Novice) races, respectively.

Savion, who started from P4, narrowly triumphed over Soorya PM (LGE Racing) in a nail-biting finish, while Amit Prasad benefitted from a penalty incurred by Jangam Akarsh (MAI Racing), who fell to P12 after winning the race. Mikail secured an easy win despite a race interruption due to a red flag.

In the Super Stock 165cc Intermediate race, Coimbatore’s Raj Kumar (Motul Sparks Racing) faced little challenge as he took the lead.

Mohan Babu from Chennai and local rider Hari Haran clinched victories in the Expert (RR 310) and Rookie (Apache RTR 200) races, respectively, in the Petronas TVS India One-Make Championship.

In the Idemitsu Honda India Talent Cup (Honda CB 300F), Tejash BA from Tumakuru emerged victorious against Jammu Raivat Dhar in a thrilling contest while Amit Prasad from Bengaluru rounded out the podium.
