Manchester, April 16 (NationPress) Captain Bernardo Silva announced on Thursday his departure from Manchester City at the conclusion of the current season, marking the end of an extraordinary nine-year journey with the club.

The 31-year-old midfielder, who has been with City since 2017, has made a remarkable 451 appearances and has been instrumental in what many consider the most successful era in the club's history. Throughout his time, Silva has helped the team secure 19 major titles, which include six Premier League championships, one UEFA Champions League title, two FA Cups, five League Cups, three Community Shields, along with a FIFA Club World Cup and a UEFA Super Cup.

Recently, Silva led the team to victory in the 2026 Carabao Cup.

In the meantime, the club has stated that it will organize a deserving tribute and farewell for their esteemed player.
