New Delhi, March 8 (NationPress) Two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu praised Lakshya Sen’s remarkable performance in the All England Open 2026, where he narrowly lost 21-15, 22-20 to Lin Chun-Yi from Chinese Taipei in the men's singles final, earning a silver medal. Despite the defeat, Sindhu commended Sen for his resilience on the court.
“It's never easy to play a final less than 24 hours after a grueling semifinal. Those matches take a toll on you. I recall my own experience at the 2021 All England Open Badminton Championships, where I had an exhausting quarterfinal against Akane Yamaguchi, and the very next day, I faced Pornpawee Chochuwong in the semifinal. It’s truly demanding,” Sindhu expressed on X.
